It was a regular thursday noon few weeks ago and I was having lunch with my dad. I happened to look at the weather app on my phone and it showed near perfect blue skies to Lofoten for the next 4 days. I said to my Dad that I'm leaving to Lofoten today! Then I realized that my dad had never been there and he had always enjoyed our photos and stories from our Lofoten road trips. Kind of as a joke I said to my dad that take few days off from work and come with me! My dad said that I really can't, I need to work and I have some meetings the next day. My dad started smiling and you could tell that he had already made a decision to go with me. He went back to work and arranged the meeting for next week and at 4PM we started our journey towards Norway, as I had packed everything while my dad finished his work for the day.
We had a car, tent, camping food and no plans.

Norway road trip vol. 8
We have been super busy and we have had to put our personal stuff on the side for few weeks, and that is the reason for this quiet time in the blog.
Now that the craziest time is over and I finally had some time to sit down on the computer and upload some of our photos to the computer. This is a photo summary of our trip few weeks ago to Norway. We had an amazing trip with the Veddeng siblings, Andrew from New Zealand and Hannah from the US. The Veddengs had planned us a road trip visiting amazing places like Geirangerfjord, Trollstigen and Ålesund. We had some plans sleeping in tents too, but the rain ruined those plans. That's totally fine as we ended up sleeping in a nice hut overlooking the beautiful Geirangerfjord.

#everchangingberlin
EverchangingBerlin – A meeting of European Instagramers in Berlin, Germany. Thomas, Uwa, Jörg and Mo had done a great job organizing a huge get-together for over 150 passioned smartphone shooters! Me and Samuel were excited to see some of our old friends from our trip to Portugal earlier this year and all these new faces that had joined the meeting this time. It was amazing to see some people in person who you have followed on Instagram for many years.
Berlin is an amazing city and so much fun to explore around. We ended up exploring some abandoned places like an old amusement park and a beautiful ballroom. There is so much to see in Berlin, that this weekend trip definitely didn't cover enough at all.
Here are some DSLR shots we took on our trip.
Before our trip we had just updated our camera gear at Rajala Pro Shop and we were excited to test them there. I had the Canon 5DMKIII with 35mm f/1.4L and Samuel had a 14mm f/2.8L on his camera and we were both very happy with the gear. We also shot some portraits with our new Canon 85mm f/1.2L II USM, and it is an amazing lens and I can't wait to shoot more with it!
